1. Who we are

JobsInVision.com is operated by Sliced Backhand Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through jobsinvision.com. Contact: hello@jobsinvision.com.

2. What we collect

Advertiser accounts. Email address and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider), the company details and job listings you submit, and records of your purchases.

Agencies. If you list a recruiting agency, we additionally process your agency profile (name, logo, description, website, regions covered) and your subscription billing status. Subscription payments are managed by Stripe, which holds your payment method.

Job seekers.Browsing the board requires no account and no personal data. Applications happen directly on the employer's own site via the apply link — we do not receive or store your CV or application.

Usage data. We use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card number.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

  • Contract — operating your account, publishing listings you have purchased, and providing customer support.
  • Legitimate interests — site analytics, fraud prevention, and keeping the board free of spam and fake listings.
  • Legal obligation — retaining transaction records for tax and accounting purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Netlify — website hosting.
  • Resend — transactional email (e.g. listing approved).
  • Google — analytics via Google Tag Manager.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms. Some are located outside the UK/EEA; where that is the case, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations. We do not sell personal data.

5. Public information

Job listings, company profiles, and agency directory profiles are public by design — including the company or agency name, logo, profile content, and any contact details you choose to include in them. Don't put personal data in a listing or profile you don't want public.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Expired listings remain in your dashboard until you remove them. Transaction records are retained as required for tax purposes (typically 6 years in the UK).

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@jobsinvision.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and analytics cookies set via Google Tag Manager. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; the site works without analytics cookies.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the site. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
